Posture by posture, we’ll relearn and observe our alignment through attention to anatomy and breath, gaining perspective from the inside out. Modifications for individual needs will be encouraged. We will often move through sequences of poses to enjoy our bodies’ flow, in sync with breathing. All class sessions will include support for deepening relaxation. This class is appropriate for those with some yoga experience.

POSTURE FLOW TO SACRED MUSIC
Jim MacBain (Wednesdays 8-9 am)
This beautiful one-hour yoga flow was created by Barb Linderman in the mid-90’s. It is based on the White Lotus yoga series developed by Tracey Rich and Ganga White (http://www.whitelotus.org/ ). The series is done entirely to sacred music, a meditative yoga flow. The first half hour consists of a sequence of standing poses. The second half hour is composed of restorative poses, ending with savasana. Postures are called out but there is no instruction. The series is not for the beginning yoga student. It is suitable for anyone who is in reasonable physical condition and knows the basic yoga poses.
